All the above are subject to review at each Trustees’ Meeting. Applications can be made by completing a simple form. The Charity prefers ladies to receive grants through a referring body, for example Age Concern, Social Services or a Neighbourhood Office. You can telephone the Charity’s office to obtain advice about this.Recipients receive two grants each year – one at the end of May/beginning of June (Spring) and another at the end of November/beginning of December (Autumn). Applications for the Spring distribution should be received by 15 March and for the Autumn distribution, by 15 September. On receipt of each grant, ladies have to complete a short reapplication form in order to qualify for a further grant. At the moment ladies living in rented accommodation receive £200 and owner occupiers receive £230, both grants being twice yearly.
