About Us

The Community Accountancy Service was formed in April 2005 when our parent organisation - North Warwickshire CVS - were asked to help a small voluntary group that needed help with it's accounts. Over the years the service has expanded and now has a client list in excess of 40 groups, providing assistance in areas such as accounting, financial training, computerised and manual bookkeeping and budgeting. We also help organisations with the preparation of their accounts, completion of year end accounts and carry out independent examinations.  In addition we provide a payroll service, completing monthly and weekly payroll as required.
Many smaller community and voluntary organisations do not have the resources to employ their own staff to ensure that financial affairs are in order.  CAS aims to fill this gap by providing an affordable finance and accounting service.
CAS specialises in finance and accounting in the voluntary and community sector and therefore has a sound understanding of the issues affecting the sector.
