Central Warwickshire Villages LEADER Programme
Have your say on how to spend £1.5m in the parishes areas of Rugby Borough and Warwick District
This workshop will be of interest to all community and parish groups who work in Rural Warwick District and Rugby Borough. It will discuss progress with the development of the local LEADER programme which aims to fund projects that bring together residents in rural parishes. The themes chosen to do this include horticultural (growing) projects, art projects and projects that link villagers with rural industries. We are looking for projects on these themes that also stimulate economic activity in villages and promote the use of or enable access to services in rural areas. This workshop will inform community groups about the current position and how they can get involved, either with their own projects or as part of the Local Action (steering) Group.
Aims of the workshop:
- to inform and update community and parish groups about the Central
Warwickshire Villages LEADER programme - to explain how they can be involved in and influence the programme.
- to discuss develop new ideas for practical community projects that can
