'Crashing': Multi-agency Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) event

on Monday 16th Oct, 2017 at 11:00am
Warwickshire County Council and the Police Crime Commissioner (PCC) have provided funding for the CSE, Missing and Trafficking Team to provide another free, multi-agency CSE Crashing training event.

The event is available for practitioners across Warwickshire on the Monday, 16th October 2017 - up to 900 professionals can attend. There will be three performances held (including one early evening) at the Warwick Bridge House Theatre.

‘Crashing’ tells the story of Eddie, who at the age of 15 lost his mother to cancer, his father to depression and found himself out on the street. Whilst sleeping in a shop doorway Eddie was approached by Michael who was kind, good fun and owned a shop with an empty flat above it. Michael offered Eddie the chance to stay there until he got himself back on his feet – but unfortunately Michael was not all that he seemed to be.

The 30 minute long performance is followed by a 30 minute long post-show discussion to explore the topic in more detail.

Booking is essential for this event. Sessions last for two hours and there are three performances over the day (including one in the early evening). No entry will be permitted without a ticket.
