Have you or someone you know got an idea for a new community group in the North Warwickshire area, but don’t know how to take the next step forward?

Help is at hand at a special workshop being organised by Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action, North Warwickshire Office.

Community Development Officer Rod Parker says “we will be giving away lots of valuable information about how to form your new group, set up a constitution and put policies in place”.

The workshop will be combined with advice on how to put together successful funding bids. Rod added “groups need to be set up in the proper way before they can start applying for funding and people can find this a difficult process.  That’s why we decided to focus this session on what to do if you are starting a group from scratch”

It’s free to attend and will be held at Trinity Church, Coleshill Road, Atherstone on Wednesday 14th July between 5.00 – 8.00pm.

The WCAVA, North Warwickshire office helps community and voluntary groups across the North of the county. Funding bid workshops are held every second Wednesday evening of each month.

For further information and to book your place give Rod a call on 01827 718080.
