Vacancy: Recruitment & Progression Officer – Talent Match

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work closely with the Talent Match team to create high quality and individualised progression pathways for Talent Match beneficiaries.

Salary:                 NJC Scale 5 point 24 currently £21,962
Hours:                  37 hours per week
Closing date:       Tuesday, 25th April 2017 at 9.00am
Interview date:     Monday, 8th May 2017

Based in Coventry and requiring regular travel across Warwickshire.

The Talent Match programme is funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The aim of the programme is to reduce the continued unemployment of 18-24 year olds across Coventry & areas of Warwickshire by creating cohesive employability pathways.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work closely with the Talent Match team to create high quality and individualised progression pathways for Talent Match beneficiaries. You will provide a link between the Talent Match staff team and employers / training providers, ensuring that Talent Match clients have access to the full range of progression opportunities available to them.

The successful candidate must have work experience of working in a busy office environment and of working with young people. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in IAG, Youth Work or equivalent and have knowledge of the local labour market and training opportunities available.

You will be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team and able to travel to attend meetings and events.

This post will involve contact with young people and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all convictions, spent or unspent must be declared.
