NHS England are building a new community facility on Brownsover, as part of their wider project to deliver a medical facility for the benefit of the area.
Some of the land upon which the new medical facility is being built was in the ownership of the council. Instead of selling the land to the NHS, the Rugby Borough Council (RBC) instead asked for a new community room, with a gross internal area of 100m2 to be provided.
RBC are now inviting expressions of interest from community groups to take on a lease to run the facility. Any agreed lease will not exceed a 20-year term. However, they are also prepared to consider granting a lease for less than 20 years.
The closing date is 5.00pm on Friday, 16th March 2018.. Please see attached for further details.
