We’re thrusting Shipston Stour Community Forum into the 21st century with the launch of #shipstonlive - a new way for everyone to get involved with their local community.

The community forum will be held at the Sheldon Bosley Hub , Pittway Lane, Shipston  CV36 4DQ from 6.30pm, and as ever you’re very welcome to join us.  But if you can’t make it, why not log on and watch us broadcasting live instead?

Imagine being able to sit at home and see exactly what’s happening at your Community Forum. If you live in the area, you can also vote on line on the night for your local police priorities for the next three months.

Register your interest with elizabethprice@warwickshire.gov.uk and a link will be sent direct to you.  With a single click on 12th June and you can take part in a community forum from home for the very first time in Warwickshire.

Throughout the event Twitter will be updated on @warksdirect with tweets featuring the hashtag #shipstonlive so that you can ask questions and take part in the event through the social media channel too.

So join us from 6.30pm with a celebration of local seasonal tempting produce courtesy of Stour Grown, and then from 7pm:

  • Orbit Housing Maintenance Team answer Your Questions
  • Older People go Back to School with Youngsters from Shipston Primary School
  • The State of the District debate – Have Your Say on What’s Most Important in Your Community
  • Meet the community police team, and help set the priorities for the next three months

To find out more about how you can get involved ring Lizzie Price on 01789 260133 email stratford@warwickshire.gov.uk or visit www.warwickshire.gov.uk/shipstonforum
