Aims:  
  To help Third Sector Organisations develop their understanding of procurement processes, and how to compete for Council Business
Objectives:  
 

To explain:

  • The Councils own procurement rules (Contract standing Orders)
  • The different processes that apply to letting contracts, depending upon their total value
  • Which contracts are subject to European union rules and (briefly) what those rules are
  • The Pre Qualification Questionnaire
  • Invitations to Tender
  • Evaluation criteria and scoring mechanisms
