This safeguarding awareness course explores the key principles of safeguarding ensuring that safeguarding and safe practice is understood and embedded within voluntary and community sector organisations and groups.
Attendees will be able to demonstrate awareness of:
- what safeguarding means
- the scope and context of safeguarding concerns
- how to act appropriately and effectively to resolve safeguarding issues
