Found it hard gaining employment since the recession hit the UK?
Why not consider volunteering to break the boredom, give back to your community and gain new skills and friends? In recent years the West Midlands has seen some of the highest unemployment statistics in the country. Having volunteering experience on your CV will provide you with that all important edge over other applicants for the much sought after jobs in the area. It can help you gain a reference for when you do decide to move on to other things. You may even love your volunteering role so much you never want to leave! Volunteering benefits you personally, the group you are volunteering for and the country as a whole.
