WCC Community Asset Transfer Opportunity: 119 Hillcrest Road, Nuneaton, CV10 9HH

Under approved protocols Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is exploring options for community or voluntary occupation of the above property before they consider disposal of the property and therefore would welcome receipt of expressions of interest from any appropriate organisation or body that may have a use for the building.

A plan of the site is below, please note that the land shown to the rear is classified as Public Open Space.  This could be included in any transfer but any use of this land will require planning permission from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and therefore any enquiries on future use should be directed towards them with clarification of the feedback provided as part of a the expression of interest. 

An Expression of Interest form is also below, which interested parties are encouraged to complete as far as is possible.  There will be a 12-week consultation period ending on the 21st May 2012.   Should any party require a viewing of the property then call Darren Ridout on 01926 738831.

Once the closing date has passed,  WCC will assess any expressions of interest received against community need and current services before going to Cabinet in June for a decision on whether to pursue a particular expression of interest or to progress with the disposal of the property on the open market.
