What is the State of the Sector?

We have launched our second ‘State of the Sector survey’ and we need to hear from you.

The survey is run by us every two years, and we compile all the information and data you give us into a single report, giving a great overview of the diversity of what community and voluntary organisations, faith groups, charities and social enterprises are achieving every day.

The survey explores key areas such as workforce, income, expenditure and volunteering, and will become a valuable resource for the voluntary and community sector.

The survey can be completed online here or paper copies can be obtained by calling 024 7638 5765. The closing date for completed surveys is Friday 10th November 2017, and all organisations that respond will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win £250 of Warwickshire CAVA training.

We use the findings to inform local government, funders and the public of the scale and impact of the sector. In addition, findings from previous surveys have proved invaluable to individual organisations for a range of activities including lobbying and fundraising. To see the Top Findings from the last State of the Sector Survey please click here.

Your responses will remain completely confidential and anonymous; personal information will not be shared with any other party. It should take around 20 minutes to complete the survey, it is fine to provide estimates if you don’t have the exact figures. We are keen that as many organisations as possible take part in the survey, no matter how large or small, please spare the time to help with this important piece of research.

Many thanks for your help and support.
