Sue Lodge is a Chartered Management Accountant who trained and worked in multinational industry. She later moved into the public sector and has worked for the last twenty years in financial administration at Warwick University.
Sue spent twelve years as financial administrator for a small self-funding research centre in Education in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Her responsibilities included preparation of departmental year end accounts, five year plans, budgetary management, costing proposals, contract negotiation, provision of financial & HR advice and guidance to staff, and recruitment and line management of a finance team.
Subsequently she worked in a number of other departments - a busy teaching department, a large engineering research department, Warwick Medical School, Warwick Business School and central finance office.
Sue has just retired. Her current volunteering includes helping children at her local school in Long Itchington with their reading and acting as treasurer to a small chamber choir. She would now like to use her skills and experience to make a greater contribution to the voluntary sector.
