 £1m John Lewis and Waitrose
 £7.5 million funding to tackle loneliness during winter - Funding will help provide immediate and targeted relief to those most at risk of loneliness during the coronavirus pandemic.
 Alpkit Foundation - Supporting grass-roots direct action projects that tackle the community response to COVID-19.
 Arts Council (Multiple open funds available)
 Asda Foundation (UK) - A variety of new COVID related grants, hygiene and healthy holidays. 
 Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust - The trust is providing grants of up £1,000 to registered UK charities working in areas that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The current grant round is focused on combating homelessness, and priority will be given to projects supporting BAME communities.
 Aviva Community Fund - To include applications for projects that enable causes to adapt or continue their vital services by covering core running costs. Open for new round of applications until 7th April 2021.
 Barclays Community Aid Package
 BBC Children in Need - Grants up to £10,00 and over £10,000 to deliver support for children and young people.
 Big Local Pot of Gold ( North Warwickshire and Nuneaton)
 British Gas Energy Trust - Grants for those struggling to pay off their gas or electricity debt.
 British Red Cross Hardship Fund - Official referral partners can register individuals suffering from financial hardship as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
 BT Small Business Support - Helping small businesses go cashless, obtain ethernet connections and supporting tech start-ups.
 Buttle UK - Chances for Children - Grants targeted at improving the social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people and their capacity to engage in education and learning.
 Central England Co-operative (Central England) - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central England Co-operative’s Community Dividend Fund will provide immediate financial support. Grants of between £100 to £5,000 (the average grant is £2,000) are available to employees and members of Central England Co-operative for projects which help local communities deal with the impact of COVID-19. of premises. The deadline for applications is 28th February 2021.
 Comic Relief - funds will go to organisations on the frontline of the response to the Coronavirus.
 Community Justice Fund - Access to Justice Foundation. They are not currently accepting applications. They envisage further information to be published around February 2021.
 COVID Winter Grant Scheme - The government’s one-off COVID Winter Grant is available until the end of March 2021 to help vulnerable residents who are struggling to afford food and utility bills (heating, cooking, lighting) and water for household purposes (including drinking, washing, cooking, central heating, sewerage and sanitary purposes), or other related essentials. 
 ECB Grants for Cricket Clubs - Grants from £1000-£5000 for cricket clubs in financial hardship during the pandemic.
 ESF Community Grants - £5,000 to £20,000 available to small and voluntary organisations to help unemployed people advance towards employment, education and training.
 Family Fund - If you’re raising a disabled or seriously ill child, they might be able to help.
 Foyle Foundation - Variety of grant programmes.
 Greggs Foundation - Funding for emergency food parcels, hardship payments and other support to schools and community hubs. (Currently paused)
 Harry Payne Fund - Grants from £250 - £2,000 for registered charities.
 Heart of England Community Foundation Coronavirus Funds - A variety of grants are available.
 Heritage Fund - They are phasing the return of project funding.
 Hilden Charitable Fund - Sympathetic to funding general running, or core costs. The next closing date for applications is Friday, 16th April 2021.
 Kenilworth Lions - Pride of Lions Community Grants Scheme
 LandAid Covid-19 Emergency Fund - The fund is open to applications for grants of up to £10,000 for immediate relief of the effects of the COVID-19 crisis (only open to current partners).
 Leathersellers Company Small Grants Programme - grants of up to £3000 for charities supporting vulnerable people, working in areas of high deprivation, with an income of under £200,000.
 Masonic Charitable Foundation - Masonic Charitable Foundation has opened the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund.
 National Lottery Awards For All - Funds still available.
 Near Neighbours Community Covid Relief Grants - Near Neighbours is providing Community COVID Relief Grants to organisations that are supporting communities that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications must first be discussed with a local Near Neighbours Coordinator.
 Parish/Town Council’s – Check out your local Parish/Town Council web site to see if they run a grants scheme.
 Paul Hamlyn Foundation - Reopen their COVID fund.  
 Permission Community Champions - Grants of up to £1000 for ‘local good causes across the UK’.
 Rank Foundation- The COVID-19 Recovery Fund has been designed to support RankNet charities and social enterprises with urgent and immediate financial needs as a result of the pandemic.
 Return to Play: Active Together - An additional £1.5m of National Lottery funding has been made available to Sport England’s Return to Play: Active Together scheme. Organisations can apply for a maximum of £10,000.
 Rosa (UK) - Rosa, a grant making charity that funds grassroots women’s organisations, has announced plans to build a Covid-19 response fund that gives multi-year grants to specialist not-for-profit organisations led by and for Black and minoritised (BME) women across the UK.
 Sport England Grants – Variety of funds. Please check regularly as changing.
 The British Muslim COVID-19 Fund - This fund is to help charities, organisations and voluntary groups in the UK irrespective of faith affected by the impact of COVID-19. (Currently paused)
 The Prince's Countryside Fund - Barclays 100x100UK Covid-19 Community Relief Fund - Funding for farming and rural communities to cope with the impact of Covid-19, to expand on new services that have emerged to support the local community during this time and to build future resilience.
 The Schroder Charity Trust  - grants up to £5000 for supporting a range of issues
 The Volant Trust has announced that its COVID-19 Response Fund has re-opened for applications. The Volant Trust accepts applications from charities in the UK that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The closing date for applications is the 31st July 2021.
 The Will Charitable Trust - The Will Charitable Trust has made emergency funding available to charities who have previously received grants from them.
 TURN2US Covid 19 Emergency Fund - Emergency grants of £500 to those in immediate financial hardship due to the pandemic.
 VINCI UK Foundation COVID-19 Fund The next application period will be opened from January to March 2021.
 Warwick District Council Community Economic Recovery Fund
 Warwickshire & West Midlands Association of Local Councils - Community Grant Fund for WALC Members
 Womens Thrive Funding - Grants of up to £40,000 are available to charitable women’s organisations across the UK working to enable women and girls to improve their mental health and wellbeing and/or improve their financial resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 Youth Futures Foundation - For organisations working with young people aged 14–24 to help overcome barriers to finding meaningful work. (Development and Impact Grants now open)
 

COVID-19 Funding Applications
If you have ideas about how to work with your local community to help them stay safe and well during the coronavirus pandemic, funding support may be available. Priority groups include:

  • BAME

  • LD (Learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties)

  • Long-term Health Condition

  • Low Income Household

  • English not as First Language

  • Older People

  • Vulnerable People

  • Young People.
