COVID-19: Ideas for independent volunteering
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of people wishing to support others in their neighbourhood during this time of national crisis. We are finding that in some areas groups that have set up to support people have enough volunteers and many existing charities are suspending their services due to the risks of infection.
If you are finding it difficult to identify a volunteering role with an established group then we have pulled together some ideas for volunteering that you can do independently to make a positive difference to people who are struggling right now. We know that there is a lot of unmet need out there that the established charities aren’t able to get to. Please take a look at these ideas to see if you can find something that will work for you.
