About this Event
Monday, 23rd November 2020, 10.00am to 11.30am, Zoom
Since the pandemic voluntary and community organisations have been adapting to new ways of working and changing guidelines about the workplace. Organisations have been working out the safest ways to engage with their volunteers. They have also needed to find new ways of recruiting volunteers, without the usual opportunities of volunteer fairs or face to face promotion.
This event is an opportunity for organisations to share their approaches and top tips. We will be hearing from organisations who have been offering volunteer opportunities around health and social care, in charity shops, in community centres and in outdoor settings. With a second lockdown how will organisations continue engaging with volunteers? Attendees will have the opportunity to share their concerns and experiences.
