Nuneaton & Bedworth Community Action Network (CAN)

on Thursday 15th Dec, 2016 at 9:30am
Community Action Network (CAN) meetings provide a regular opportunity for community groups and voluntary organisations locally to meet, inform and support one another, they also give you the opportunity to collectively 'have your say' and help to shape and influence local decision making.

Thursday, 15th December 2016, 9.30am - 1.00pm, Ambleside Community Sports Club, Ambleside Way, Nuneaton CV11 6AT

For the final CAN of 2016, our focus is on services for children and young people. We will be hosting a range of organisations who work with children and young people in some capacity and will open up the meeting for an opportunity to network with these organisations, find out about the work that they are doing, as well as the chance to network with other partner organisations. One piece of feedback we consistently receive is that the chance to talk to other like-minded organisations is one of the most useful things about the CANs, so this will be a fantastic opportunity.

In addition, for those organisations that work with volunteers, we will begin the event with a demonstration of Volunteer Connect, WCAVA's new Volunteer brokerage portal, as well as your usual opportunity to share your news with the sector. There will also be some treats for the festive season, so please book early!
