on Wednesday 15th Feb, 2017 at 9:30am
WCAVA’s Community Action Networks provide an opportunity for voluntary and community and not for profit organisations to stay informed about relevant local and national issues and to share good practice.

Wednesday, 15th February 2016, 9.30am - 12.30pm, Stratford Sports Club, Swans Nest, Stratford Upon Avon CV37 7LS

WCAVA’s Community Action Networks provide an opportunity for voluntary and community and not for profit organisations to stay informed about relevant local and national issues and to share good practice.

Wright Hassall is a Warwickshire law firm that advises national and regional charities and not for profit organisations on the full range of charity law, governance and regulatory issues alongside day to day operational matters: employment, litigation, property and corporate. Keith Ainsworth from Wright Hassall will be providing information about the current legislative requirements for charities and not for profit organisations. WCAVA will be sharing information from the NCVO Almanac which gives an overview of the voluntary sector’s scope and character including its finances, work force and volunteering and sharing data from our own Warwickshire annual State of the Sector survey. Groups will also have a chance to highlight their greatest challenges for 2017. Community Action events also provide an opportunity for groups to network over lunch.
