on Wednesday 13th Feb, 2019 at 9:30am
Our next Warwick District CAN meeting will be held on Wednesday, 13th February. The theme of this event will be 'Health and Wellbeing in Warwick District’.

WCAVA’s Community Action Networks provide an opportunity for voluntary and community organisations to stay informed about relevant local and national issues and to network.

The theme of this event will be 'Health and Wellbeing in Warwick District’. Emily Van de Venter, Associate Director from Public Health, will be providing scene setting insight; Jane Coates representing the Place Forum for Coventry and Warwickshire will be talking about the Year of Wellbeing; Vina Fatania from Healthwatch Warwickshire with be talking about My Rights to Access Health Care and Abi Dixon from CSW Sport will be talking about Love to Move & Physical Activity for Health.

The voluntary and community sector has traditionally supported people’s wellbeing through services, volunteering and advocacy. Table top discussions will help to identify challenges for the sector aligned to Health and Wellbeing and how we as a collective can respond to these.
