Linking Futures was set up to address youth unemployment. The project works with young people aged 18-29 who are struggling to get their foot on the career ladder, including those who are furthest away from the workplace and facing multiple barriers to progression.
As well as connecting young people with employment opportunities, Linking Futures helps young people develop better social networks and reduce loneliness and social isolation. We address the root causes of unemployment and help young people to develop the skills and confidence to succeed in life.
Linking Futures is currently delivering 2 programmes ‘Momentum’ and ‘Inspire’ across Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire. As part of the programmes young people will be able to access free well-being and employability workshops including, Healthy Lifestyles, Motivating Me, Quality Relationships, How to Find Work and Interview Skills. All young people will be supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the programme, to help them look at careers and progression opportunities and achieve their full potential.
