Recruitment & Progression Officer – Talent Match

Warwickshire CAVA are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work closely with the Talent Match team to create high quality and individualised progression pathways for Talent Match beneficiaries. You will provide a link between the Talent Match staff team and employers/training providers, ensuring that Talent Match clients have access to the full range of progression opportunities available to them.

Salary:                NJC Scale 5 point 24 currently £21,745 pro rata
Hours:                 22.5 hours per week
Location:             Based in Coventry and requiring regular travel across Warwickshire
Duration:             Fixed term contract until 31/03/2016
Closing date:       Tuesday, 30th August 2016 at 9.00am
Interview date:     w/c Monday, 5th September 2016

The Talent Match programme is funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The aim of the programme is to reduce the continued unemployment of 18-24 year olds across Coventry and areas of Warwickshire by creating cohesive employability pathways.

The successful candidate must have work experience of working in a busy office environment and working with young people. You will be NVQ Level 3 in IAG or equivalent and have knowledge of the local labour market and training opportunities available.

You will be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team and able to travel to attend meetings and events.

This post will involve contact with young people and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all convictions, spent or unspent must be declared.
