Vacancy: Assistant Youth Worker – North Warwickshire

WCAVA North Warwickshire are seeking an Assistant Youth Worker to support the delivery of the ‘3 villages Rural Youth Project’ which is a programme of youth work directed at young people aged 11-25 with a specific focus on those aged 13-19 in the villages of Hurley, Wood End and Piccadilly.

Salary:                       NJC scale 4 point 19 currently £19,446 pro rata
Hours:                       3 hours per week
Closing date:            Friday 17th May 2019 at 9.00am
Interview date:         Thursday, 30th May 2019

The successful candidate must have work experience with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, safeguarding issues and procedures and be able to develop positive working relationships with young people. You will also have an enthusiasm for working with young people and have good organisational skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and complete tasks on schedule.

Flexibility to undertake work out of normal hours and ability to travel throughout Warwickshire are essential.
