Could you help to raise awareness of dementia in Rugby?

Rugby Dementia Friendly Communities (Rugby DFC) need your help!

Dementia Action Week will take place in May, and Rugby DFC need your help! They’d like to yarn bomb the town with knitted or crocheted Forget Me Nots (the Alzheimer’s Society symbol of dementia).

Please knit or crochet as many flowers as you’d like in varying sizes. Patterns are available at www.facebook.com/RugbyTownDFC or by emailing RugbyTownDFC@gmail.com (please note these patterns are just a guide and you’re free to create blue and yellow flowers of any shape or size). Drop them off in the blue boxes at:

  • Rugby Town Hall reception, Evreux Way, Rugby CV21 2RR

  • Rugby Library, Little Elborow Street, Rugby CV21 3BZ

  • Anya Court Care Home, 286 Dunchurch Rd, Rugby CV22 6JA

  • Age UK Claremont Centre, 43 Clifton Road, Rugby CV21 3QE
