Cash for Kids

Applications now open for grant funding to help disadvantaged children in the Midlands.

Cash for Kids, the official charity of Bauer Media, is now accepting applications for grant funding in the Midlands.

The charity exists solely to help young people up to and including the age of 18 and provides funding to families, community projects & charities which support those living in poverty, with an illness or disability or whose circumstances mean they are unable to live life to the full.

A shared funding pot for the two Midlands based charities (Free Radio Cash for Kids & Gem’s Cash for Kids) is now accepting applications for funding in advance of its current Cash for Kids Day fundraising campaign.

Applications can only be made for young people that live in/registered charities that help young people in either the Free Radio or Gem Radio broadcast areas (or both).

Free Radio: Birmingham; Wolverhampton & the Black Country; Shropshire; Coventry & Warwickshire; Herefordshire & Worcestershire
Gem Radio: Nottinghamshire; Derbyshire; Leicestershire

Favourable consideration will be given to those projects which directly benefit a number/large number of children.

Applications can be only made via the online form which can be found (along with the full eligibility criteria) at either https://cfk.org.uk/cfkmidsgrants or https://cfk.org.uk/cfkmidsgrant. Grant applications made to either charity will be amalgamated and considered together.
