Marking VE Day in Nuneaton

As Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery remains closed to the public, they are instead bringing a VE Day themed fortnight (4th May – 17th May) to their #museumathome offerings, which will include something for all ages.

The Museum’s first online exhibition “Blitzed”, is also now available to view in their new virtual reality White Gallery, which gives viewers the opportunity to examine never before seen photographs from the Museum’s collection, with detailed images revealing the significant aftermath of air raids on the region. For younger visitors there will be lots of wartime themed makes accessible from:

There will also be an exclusive Storytelling for Under 5s with a “Make Do & Mend” theme on the Museum’s YouTube site on Wednesday, 13th May!
