Charitable organisations can now apply for funding of £5.5 million. £4.82 million is provided by The National Lottery Community Fund and will help homelessness charities in England. The remaining £680,000 is from Comic Relief and will focus on charities based in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The criteria is as follows:
The grants are open to registered charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations, Community Benefit Societies and Community Interest Companies (with an asset lock) in England
Organisations must be small to medium sized (up to £5 million annual turnover) and currently work directly with people experiencing homelessness (50 per cent of beneficiaries must be people experiencing homelessness)
Grants must be for revenue funding only
Applicants should have (forecasted) unrestricted cash reserves of below 3 months following the impact of COVID-19 this financial year.

Please note Homeless Link will not fund organisations that were successful in Round 1 of the COVID-19 Homelessness Response Fund (which distributed £6m funding from MHCLG).
