Free Flu Jab for the Community Health and Social Care organisation in Solihull

Are you a volunteer or an employee of a charity or a community and voluntary organisation in Solihull and delivering health and social care? Then you might be eligible for a free flu jab.

NHS Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) have agreed to run a flu programme with the assistance of Solihull CAVA. They have given funding, which will provide free flu vaccinations to volunteers and employees of charities, community and voluntary organisations in Solihull who are delivering programmes that support the delivery of health and social care in Solihull. This is for individuals who are not already eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine. Please see the following link for people who are already eligible for a free vaccination - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/flu-influenza-vaccine/

How it will work
Individuals will pay for their own flu vaccine, keep the receipt and pass this onto the organisation they are working for to so that they can get their money back. The organisation will then invoice Solihull CAVA for reimbursement.

To find out more about the scheme and whether you are eligible for a free vaccination, please contact June Mole on jmole@wcava.org.uk or phone Verity Thompson on 07966 380289.
