Introduction and Background
Coventry Refugee and migrant Centre (CRMC) welcomes and empowers refugees and migrants in Coventry to rebuild their lives and achieve their potential. To achieve our aims, we deliver a wide range of front-line and partner services to meet all the immediate support needs our clients may have. These range from employment and immigration advice, to therapy services, English classes, social groups and so much more.
CRMC have a vision to develop the social enterprise arm of the charity to provide employment opportunities to refugees and migrants.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for Consultancy expertise to help set up our exciting new Handyperson Social Enterprise- Repairs for you to realise entrepreneurial potential of refugees and migrants communities by providing home solutions for customers.
Deliverables and timelines
The individual will manage the start- up phase of the enterprise and provide the following services:
Create a framework/system to incorporate the customer journey from initial enquiry to delivering a service
Develop an operational manual to deliver the handyperson service
Identifying and purchasing of essential tools and equipment needed to deliver the service
Develop a Training and Development Programme for team workers
Create a roadmap for sustainability beyond the life of MiFC together with the Legacy Coordinator.
This is a paid opportunity for an individual with the right expertise. Duration of this project is 4 months. The project will commence week from the 1 st December 2020 and to be completed by 26 th March 2021.
