Vacancy: Targeted Testing Volunteer Coordinators

Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action is recruiting 2x Targeted Testing Volunteer Coordinators.

Salary: £21,074 pro rata per annum
Hours: 22.50 hours per week
Duration: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2021
Closing Date: Friday, 11th December 2020 at 9am

Aligned to the release of Targeted ‘Community Testing’ for COVID-19, we have an exciting new opportunity to support a volunteering initiative to the end of March 2021.

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) are leading a programme that reflects the national testing programme and aims to test everyone, regardless of whether or not they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. The purpose is to find people who may be infected but are not (yet) displaying symptoms.

WCAVA are seeking 2x Volunteer Coordinators who will be responsible for recruiting, inducting and supporting volunteers for WCC to assist the programme; the volunteers will be working alongside a wider team of paid staff from across Warwickshire, with testing centres open 8am-8pm, weekdays and 10am– 4pm weekends.

The two roles will work flexibly, ensuring that support to volunteers is available throughout the week. It is expected that the post holders will share the ‘on call’ responsibilities.
