Resilience Training and Support

Resilience is the ability to recover and bounce back from adversity and hardships, feeling stronger and more capable to cope than ever before.

Rob Legge Consulting will be providing a range of opportunities for volunteers, front line staff and voluntary sector leaders around managing change and building personal and organisational resilience. Sessions are positive and interactive, allowing everyone to share ideas.

Resilience at work
For volunteers and front line staff, this half day interactive session will cover:

What is resilience?

  • What causes a lack of resilience?

  • How can you build your own resilience?

  • How to be resilient during the pandemic

  • Maintaining productivity while working from home

  • Supporting colleagues to be more resilient

  • Handling changes successfully

  • Managing your mental health.

The dates to choose from are:

Tuesday, 2nd March 2021, 1.00pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday, 9th March 2021, 1.00pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday, 30th March 2021, 9.30am to 12.00pm
Monday, 12th April 2021, 9.30am to 12.00pm

Rob will be able to offer a one-to-one mentoring session for a limited number of attendees to help them consider your personal resilience action-plan.

Building a resilient team
Aimed at voluntary sector leaders and managers, these two half sessions will cover the following topics:

  • What is resilience?

  • What causes a lack of resilience?

  • How can you build your own resilience?

  • What leadership style is required to help others build resilience?

  • How do you communicate successfully as a leader during a time of change and uncertainty?

  • How do you address mental health and wellbeing issues in your team?

  • How to you build trust with your team?

  • How do you introduce change and motivate staff?

  • What lessons have you learnt from the pandemic so far?

The date of this training is Monday, 22nd March 2021, 9.30am - 12.00 noon and Monday, 29th March 2021,  9.30am - 12.00 noon.

This will be supplemented with one individual mentoring session from Rob to ensure the group learning is translated into each individual’s work context.
