The programme delivery will take place across the county throughout February and March.

HR Support
Have you found managing your team a challenge during the pandemic? Is furlough still a mystery? Has your staff handbook, contracts or policies caused you headaches aligned to home working? Are you concerned about the longevity of your group and need support around staffing issues or redundancy support?

We have some limited support available for organisations to access up to 6 hours FREE, funded HR support via our skilled HR providers.

Please note these opportunities are targeted at organisations with an income below £500,000 per annum with a preference to support grass roots organisations with lower incomes.

Bid Writing Support/Fund 
Creating successful funding bids can be a complex and time-consuming process.

We have a small number of grants available for groups to apply for up to £1,000 to bring in fundraising support to assist your group in applying for funding.

If you have an existing fundraiser you would like to fund some additional hours for, or would like us to recommend a bid writer that could work with you, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Please note these opportunities are targeted at organisations with an income below £500,000 per annum with a preference to support grass roots organisations with lower incomes.

We are delighted to announce that in partnership with Get Grants we're offering a range of Fundraising Training courses for fundraisers of all skill levels and organisations of all shapes and sizes. Scheduled workshop sessions include:

  • Generating Income

  • Introduction to Bid Writing

Training Support Fund 
Developing the skills and expertise of staff and volunteers is vital to ensure we maintain a strong and vibrant voluntary and community sector.

We have a small number of training grants available for groups and individuals to apply for of £500; the grants are to fund training provision or contribute towards the cost of developing the capacity within your  organisation.

Please note these opportunities are targeted at organisations with an income below £500,000 per annum with a preference to support grass roots organisations with lower incomes.

Mentoring for leaders
Tacitus Projects Ltd and Factor Networking and Consultancy Ltd will be providing opportunities for established and emerging leaders from the voluntary and community sector in Warwickshire volunteers, concentrating on leadership and managing change. There are 3 sessions plus the opportunity to participate in one-to-one or group mentoring. For further details, please click here.

Good governance during and beyond the pandemic 
Factor Networking and Consultancy will be providing 6 action learning sets consisting of 2 facilitated shared learning sessions, for voluntary sector leaders and trustees to pool and reflect upon their different approaches to governance in their respective organisations. Resilience Training and Support
Rob Legge Consulting will be providing a range of opportunities for volunteers, front line staff and voluntary sector leaders around managing change and building personal and organisational resilience. Safeguarding Support 
Safeguarding is a key focus of our work here at CAVA, ensuring that the organisations we work with offer safe activities and support for children, young people and vulnerable adults across Warwickshire.
