CAVA North Warwickshire are seeking a Lead Youth Worker to coordinate the delivery of the ‘Ex-Mining Villages Rural Youth Project’ which is a programme of youth work directed at young people aged 11-25 with a specific focus on those aged 13-19 in North Warwickshire, and specifically the villages of Hurley, Wood End, Piccadilly, Hartshill and Dordon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Youth Worker to establish youth work in two areas that do not currently have any open access youth provision.
The successful candidate must have work experience with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, safeguarding issues and procedures and be able to develop positive working relationships with young people. You will also have an enthusiasm for working with young people and have good organisational skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and complete tasks on schedule.
Flexibility to undertake work out of normal hours and ability to travel throughout Warwickshire are essential.
