BRANCAB: Changes to telephone lines

On Wednesday, 1st September 2021 BRANCAB phone lines will be changing.

On 1st September 2021 BRANCAB (the Citizens Advice Bureau Service for Nuneaton & Bedworth and Rugby) phone lines will be changing. The number that you will need to call for free, independent and impartial advice will be:

Adviceline (Bedworth, Rugby and Nuneaton): Freephone 0808 2505715 (Monday to Friday 10am-2pm).

Outside of these hours you can also call Adviceline (national) Freephone: 0808 278 7826 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm).

BRANCAB also deliver the Universal Credit Helpline: Freephone 0800 144 8444 (Mondays to Fridays 9am-5pm).

You can still email them for advice via:
Nuneaton & Bedworth: info@brancab.org.uk
Rugby: adviser@brancab.org.uk

Why they have made the changes:

  • Easier for clients. They have reduced the number of phone lines to access our service

  • Cheaper to use. The new numbers are all freephone and our local freephone number will ensure that they are giving priority to our local community

  • Reduced waiting times. Their phones now have a ‘trip’ facility which means that instead of an engaged tone, you will be routed to the next available advisor.

Free, confidential, impartial and independent advice.
