Enhanced Access Care

Out-of-hours Primary Care Survey - Your help needed!

From 1st October 2022, the people of Rugby will benefit from an additional 15.5 hours of additional consultation time with multi-skilled clinicians including a clinical pharmacist, physiotherapists and nurses. There will be a doctor on site, at all times.

Appointments will be available for booking, between 6:30pm and 8pm in the evenings or between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays. People can book their appointments 2 weeks in advance or up to 1 hour before closing time. Bookings can be made through the GP practices or through NHS111. In time, options to book online directly will be made available.

A survey has been commissioned to capture the people’s preferences for such clinics and to take note of any challenges they may have in accessing the clinics. The survey will take no more than a minute to complete and no personal information will be collected.

Dr.Byrd, Clinical Director of Rugby Health Limited, the organisation representing the 12 GP practices in Rugby said, ‘The clinics are set up to focus on long-term condition management, chronic disease control, lifestyle support and prevention. We encourage the people of Rugby to complete the survey, so their views will help to shape the format of the clinics’.

The closing date for the survey is Sunday, 31st July 2022.
