Travel and accommodation for the young person and a youth worker, parent, carer or guardian where needed
UK Youth also want to hear, share and celebrate the stories of the incredible young people within our network who have benefited either from a UK Youth programme or services in their local youth organisation.
If you have a young person, whose story needs to be heard, please ask them to fill in this form.
We're asking the host and performers to submit a short video application, please share the tips and tricks below to help them make the most of their application.
Look at the questions before you start filming! Think about what you want to say and plan your responses to each question. Once you're happy with your answers, ask your Youth Worker to listen to them.
Have a little rehearsal before you get set up to film to make sure you're confident in your answers.
You don't need to have the latest camera to submit an application, a camera phone will be perfect. We're interested in what you have to say!
Make sure that you're in a well lit, quiet place when filming your application
Get someone to hold your phone or camera, or if you have one, use a tripod to keep your film steady
Do a short test film to make sure you can be heard on the film
Then get filming! Have fun and do as many takes as you need.
Show your final film to your youth worker
Upload your video to the form!
Email the team if you have any questions about the application
UK Youth will be in touch with all applicants and their Youth Workers in the first week of April to let them know whether they have been shortlisted.
Any applicants that do not make the shortlist will also be entered into a prize draw and may be in with the chance of winning an awesome prize!
