Financial Literacy Workshops are designed to help participants budget, save and find the best ways to borrow money.
These sessions take about an hour and are suitable for anyone who would like some tips on how to manage their money a little better. If you know of any community group, church group or club that could benefit then please contact Independent Advocacy. Groups can be as small as two or three.
Topics covered are budgeting, separating bills from personal expenditure, “Jam Jar” system for saving for bills, having an emergency fund for unexpected expenditure and best ways to borrow money.
