Helping to empower people to move from passive, complicit bystanders to active bystanders.

Training Active Bystanders (TAB) workshops will give you the skills and confidence to deal with situations such as bullying, harassment and aggression. Using an informal interactive approach, our trainers work with groups in work and community settings.

Previous participants have said:

“Good mixture of listening and activities non-threatening, could join in or not as felt able.”

“Active bystander is BOTH being positive and dealing with negative situations. Lots of useful tips and ideas“

“Learnt that its “normal” to feel afraid/embarrassed, but now have ways to overcome that.”

The concept was originally developed in USA by Quabbin Mediation www.trainingactivebystanders.org and Independent Advocacy are now their trusted delivery partner in the UK.
