This course aims to ensure that safeguarding and safe practice is understood and embedded within voluntary and community sector organisations and groups.

Wednesday, 12th September 2018, 9.30am - 12.30pm, The Graham Adams Centre, St James Road, Southam CV47 0LY

Suitable for:
Individuals and teams working in the voluntary and community sector including managers, volunteers, trustees and support staff.

Objectives:

Attendees will be able to demonstrate awareness of:

  • what safeguarding means

  • the scope and context of safeguarding concerns

  • how to act appropriately and effectively to resolve safeguarding issues
