This course aims to ensure that safeguarding and safe practice is understood and embedded within voluntary and community sector organisations and groups.

Individuals and teams working in the voluntary and community sector including managers, volunteers, trustees and support staff.
Attendees will be able to demonstrate awareness of:
what safeguarding means
the scope and context of safeguarding concerns
how to act appropriately and effectively to resolve safeguarding issues
