The purpose of the Warwickshire Compact is to provide a set of good practice standards to guide relationships between Warwickshire's public agencies and voluntary and community organisations.
The original Warwickshire Compact was signed in January 2002 by 18 organisations, which represented both the public agencies and the voluntary and community sectors. It was reviewed and re-launched in November 2005.
There has been a further review during 2010-2011 and the current version of the document can be downloaded here.
The Compact document should be seen as a tool to help the voluntary and community sector and public agencies to implement good practice in their relationships and dealings with partner organisations.
Organisations can nominate named signatories to the Compact when they have formally resolved to adopt and implement the Compact's principles and good practice guidance.
