We are pleased to announce that Warwickshire & Solihull CAVA has again been awarded this nationally recognised quality accreditation. Every three years we undertake a rigorous assessment process to demonstrate how we meet the quality assurance standards.

Following an independent assessment Warwickshire and Solihull Community and Voluntary Action has been awarded the Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation (VCQA) by NAVCA (National Association of Voluntary and Community Action).

VCQA is the quality mark for organisations providing Volunteer Centre functions. It provides assurance to commissioners and funders, as well as members of the public and volunteer- involving organisations (VIOs) that CAVA is providing a high quality and effective local service. As part of the submission and assessment process, CAVA demonstrated our high standards across the 5 functions of a Volunteer Centre: Strategic development of volunteering;  Good practice development; Brokerage, Developing volunteering opportunities and Voice of volunteering.

The Award is proof of CAVA’s expertise around volunteering, the passion and commitment of staff, and great teamwork across CAVA. We will be using the new VCQA logo – until we go through the renewal process in another 3 years!
